How do I contact the site administrators?

How do I submit stories?

If you have not already done so, please register for an account. Once you've logged in, click on Account Information and choose Add Story. The form presented there will allow you to submit your story.

Why can't I submit a story in the fandom I've selected?

You probably still need to choose a subcategory (such as FPF or RPF). See the instructions for Adding a Story at the wiki (help site).

What are the ratings used on the site?

We use the following ratings:

All: Stories suitable for all audiences.
Mature: Stories that have more adult themes, including violence and sexuality but without graphic explicitness.
Adult: Stories that have adult themes and may include graphic violence and/or sexuality.

What are the story classifications?

Stories are classified by categories (fandoms), characters, pairings (optional), ratings, genres, and warnings.

What about when the site goes down? Is there anywhere I can go to find out why?

Yes, we have set up The Last Ship LiveJournal Community as a place where we can post about unscheduled system outages. Feel free to join the community if you have a LiveJournal or to just bookmark the site if you don't. Additionally, we have set up a similar journal over at Greatest Journal in case LiveJournal is unavailable or becomes untenable.
